With nearly four decades of business leadership experience, I remain most passionate about helping others achieve what they want. I have been blessed to be a part of seven start-up companies, the learning was tremendous. The companies that have succeeded are those with a focus on their people. Leadership, in my words, is “the ability to help others elicit the very best in themselves, to attain the very best for all involved.” Culture is built and sustained by how well we implement this strategy, and little else.

I have spent many years in the insurance business, mostly on a part-time basis. Beginning with Prudential, where I earned numerous awards for Life Sales. I have helped countless families navigate the ever-mudding waters of Health Insurance, but I am most excited to expand my experience with the launching of K. B. Young Agency. This foray will take me into the world of Business, aka Commercial, Insurance. Helping other small business owners protect their businesses, brands, and reputations, with the ability to extend their legacy through business continuation.

When I am not serving my customers, I can be found enjoying my grandchildren. Golf is a favorite hobby, as is serving my community and my Church. As an avid reader I can devour 200 books a year. Tell me your favorite and why.
